    Introduction

      The Vehicle Digital Laboratory was founded in 2009 with the aim of establishing an international student team at Southwest Jiaotong University that is benchmarked against Germany. By focusing on major events with significant influence, the laboratory aims to systematically cultivate students' abilities and become a breeding ground for high-end research and development talents, providing graduate reserve talents for the subsequent development of the entire team. Taking Formula Student China (FSC) as the main theme, the system trains students' abilities and adopts a reinforcement approach to compete in A-class events. In addition, we will conduct research on relevant competitions in countries such as Germany and Russia, collaborate with German language teachers and students to carry out "engineering+foreign language" teaching reforms, and cultivate students' international perspectives and abilities.

      Since its establishment in 2009, we have selected outstanding students from freshmen every year and organized a teacher team to systematically train students for four years outside of class. Students have gained a lot of exercise, including 3D design, engineering drawings, computational simulation, manufacturing, testing technology, sensing technology, and data processing. On average, they have mastered at least 10 software types, such as SW/CATIA 3D software, Ansys/ABAQUS finite element analysis software, Adams/shock dynamic simulation, Origin data processing, Matlab/Simulink simulation, YoloV5 image processing, Proteus electronic circuits. Under this mode, more than 400 core talents have been trained, radiating to thousands of people. Among the students, a large number have been admitted for postgraduate studies, taken postgraduate entrance exams, and pursued further studies abroad, making them the core strength of major research institutes. Many students have grown rapidly in the industry and quickly become industry elites because they have been exposed to the technology required by industry enterprises since their early years.

      The laboratory provides the following conditions for students

      1) Provide scientific and technological innovation conditions such as school laboratories and sister universities' processing facilities, organize laboratory members to study and participate in the Formula One car competition for college students every year, and focus on supporting the Formula One car competition for college students; Match each group with a mentor and provide regular guidance; Provide excellent students with the opportunity to join the intelligent vehicle research team and participate in real research projects; Members are given priority consideration when applying for recommendation, being admitted to team graduate programs, or studying abroad in Germany.

      2) Provide students with opportunities for practical experience in science and technology innovation and popularization services, as well as a certain amount of compensation, and provide relevant practical internships or volunteer certificates for 16 hours or more.

      3) Provide practical opportunities and certain rewards for students to participate in internationalization, and provide relevant practical internship or volunteer certificates for 16 hours or more.

      4) Provide recommendation letters and real internship and practical proof materials for students to pursue further education and employment both domestically and internationally.

      5) Provide SRTP for college students' research training guided by real problems such as enterprises and competitions.

      6) Those with laboratory experience and a foundation in German will be given priority for studying, exchanging, and exchanging ideas in Germany.

      7) Students who register through the laboratory to study German at the Sino German Center of Jiaotong University can enjoy a 10% discount on services.

      8) Provide participation in real training on scientific research practice platforms such as KUKA Industrial Robot Research Institute and Automotive and Energy Power Research Institute.

      9) Provide opportunities for exchange and learning with sister universities.

      10) Provide opportunities for corporate internships, academic forums, and other communication.
