Description of Research Group:Since 2010 our team have had much cooperation with HS Ostfalia, FH Bielefeld, TU Dresden, TU Berlin and so on, especially on education. We have sent hundreds students from Southwest Jiaotong University to Germany to study.
We also have a platform named Leshan Sino-German Science and Technolgy Promtotion Center jointed builed by Southwest Jiaotong University and Sichuan Province. Its goal is strengthening cooperation in education and Sciene and Technology between China and Germany.

Description of Research Group:德国青少年MINT（数学Mathematik、信息技术Informatik、自然科学Naturwissenschaften 和 技术Technik的缩写）科创理念，成立中德青少年科创研究所，组织企业工程师和大学教师团队，结合西南交通大学世界闻名的铁路特色学科，开发了《火车来了》、《小桥流水》、《动车3D设计及打印》、《arduino控制火车》、《小小工匠》等系列富有特色的旨在培养儿童创新能力的科创课程，形成MINT童新科创品牌系列，许多课程已成为西南交大子弟小学校本课程。通过有衔接、沟通、跨越等丰富含义的桥梁，把铁路大系统中的机车车辆、轨道、供电、信号、隧道等各子系有序无缝引入，将绘画、手工、木工、三维设计、3D打印、编程、智能硬件各种能力循序渐进地融入其中，打造系统的铁路特色课程，让孩子们可以自己动手参与整个铁路运行沙盘的设计制作全过程，塑造学生科学、创新、实践、探索精神和工程素养，培养孩子们的系统观、大局观和家国情怀。
