He served as the general chair or program chair of IWSDA'2001-2021 (founding chair), HMWC'2012-2020 (founding chair), AICWC'2013-2019 (founding chair), ITW'2018, VTC'2016-Spring, WOCC'2016, WiCOM'2010, ITW'2006, ICWMMN'13/15, SETA'2006, etc.
He is the founding chair of IEEE VTS BJ Chapter and the IEEE ComSoc CD Chapter, founding chair of IEEE Chengdu Section. He also served as a board member of IEEE Region 10, IET(IEE) Council and IET Asia-Pacific Region.
