So far, he has supervised 4 postdoctors, 53 PhD graduates, 104 MSc graduates. In addition, he is currently supervising 3 postdoctors, 12 PhD students and 6 MSc students.
Among the PhD students he supervised, Dr Xiaohu Tang and Dr Zheng Yang won National Top 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize (MoE - Ministry of Education, China), and National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize (CESE - China Education Society of Electronics, China), respectively. Besides, 4 PhD students won Provincial Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize, and 11 PhD students won University Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize.
