主要从事先进材料的本构关系和疲劳与断裂力学方面的研究,在先进材料的棘轮行为、棘轮-疲劳交互作用、形状记忆合金热-力耦合循环变形行为和疲劳失效行为、复合材料细观力学、多场耦合本构关系以及多尺度力学行为分析等方面取得了较多创新性成果;同时,积极面向国家重大需求,开展了高速铁路轮轨滚动接触疲劳分析、轮轴的弯曲微动疲劳、重载货车关键部件剩余寿命评估、大型结构关键部件的服役安全和可靠性分析等方面的技术攻关。
