Born in 1958 in Chengdu, Sichuan. 1983 taught at the Chengdu University of Science and Technology Department of Foreign Languages (now Sichuan University School of Foreign Languages). Transferred from Sichuan University, Southwest Jiaotong University in 1998.
1983, 1995 and 1998 at the Shanghai International Studies University, Germany's Ruhr University and Humboldt University of Berlin were awarded bachelors, masters and doctorate.
