GUO Rui, Ph.D., a high level overseas talents in Sichuan Province. He presently is an associate professor and a Ph.D & MA Supervisor in Department of Building Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. He is the overseas member of Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE) and Japan Concrete Institute (JCI), and a member of the Sichuan Provincial Committee of Architectural Industrialization Experts and a member of the Sichuan Provincial Civil Engineering Society World Heritage Committee.
His main researches are Fiber-reinforced-polymer (FRP) strengthening method, Fiber-reinforced-cementitious-composite (FRCC) developed, Seismic performance of Pre-cast RC structures, and health monitoring safety evaluation of building structures. In the past five years, he have published more than 30 papers as the first / corresponding author.
