Dr Han is Professor and Deputy Dean in the School of Transportation and Logistics, Director of Institute of System Science and Engineering, at Southwest Jiaotong University. He worked at Imperial College as Assistant Professor and then Associate Professor from 2013-2020. He has published over 130 journal and conference papers in the areas of transportation modeling and optimization. He is currently leading a research group of over 50 scholars and students at SWJTU.

Description of Research Group:团队是一支以国家级人才入选者为核心，以具有国内外丰富研究经历中青年教师为骨干，结构合理、特色鲜明的国际化研究队伍。团队依托于国家重点（培育）学科“交通运输工程”以及“系统科学与系统工程研究所”、“综合交通大数据应用技术国家工程实验室”、“综合交通运输智能化国家地方联合工程实验室”、“未来交通与智慧城市创新技术产学研联合实验室”等创新平台开展科学探索、技术研发和应用示范。目前，团队共有成员53人，其中正高1人，副高4人，中级2人，专职科研人员2人，博士研究生10人，硕士研究生34人。团队拥有国家级高层次人才1名，省部级人才计划入选者2人。团队组建以来，长期从事交通运输工程、智能交通、智慧城市等领域的创新研究。发表SCI期刊论文140余篇、EI期刊论文30余篇，授权发明专利8项；主持国家级科研项目5项、省部级科研项目4项，主持其他纵向、横向项目40余项；获得省部级奖2项、学会奖3项。
