ZHU Ying, currently the general manager of China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group Co. Ltd, was appointed as adjunct professor of Southwest Jiaotong University in 2009. Mr. Zhu obtains Master Degree of Engineering and the title of Professorate Senior Engineer. Mr. Zhu was granted a variety of awards, involving National Labor Medal, Zhan Tianyou Award, Outstanding Innovation Talent Award of Sichuan Province, first and second prize of National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology and 15 awards of Provincial & Ministerial Prize for Progress in Science and Technology and Excellent Project Design Award, as well as honored as Engineering Master Designer of Sichuan Province, Excellent Expert with Outstanding Contribution of Sichuan Province. Mr. Zhu is engaged in survey, design and research works concerning railway, highway and urban rail transit. He has taken charge of and participated in more than 20 national key construction projects regarding railway, highway and urban rail transit, meanwhile he has also involved in and completed over 20 scientific research projects. With remarkable achievements in terms of ballastless track, overall route alignment, general design and comprehensive transportation planning, he has made prominent contributions to the transportation construction of our nation.
