Faculty Profile

Biography
 

                         Teaching at the Faculty of Architecture in Southwest Jiaotong University (China) since 2010,
                         I have a broad range of research interests: from the late-medieval Chinese wooden monuments,
                         to the modern industrial heritage, and to the contemporary soundscape ecology. I received my
                         PhD degree (2010), M. Arch (2006) and B. Arch (2003) at School of Architecture, Tianjin
                         University, China. In 2007-08, I spent a year studying in the doctoral program at the School of
                         Architecture Paris-La Villette in France. I finished my Ph.D. dissertation on the theme of the
                         relationship between the Chinese architecture and the traditional Chinese music.
