Ping Yang, associate professor/supervisor, selected by the Sichuan "Thousand Talents Program", selected by the Sichuan Province academic and technical leader reserve candidate, selected by the Southwest Jiaotong University Teachers' Talent Team Construction "Young Seeds Program", is a core member of the Sichuan "Youth Science and Technology Innovation Team", Deputy Secretary-General of the Youth Work Committee of the China Power Supply Society Chief, Deputy Secretary-General of the Working Committee of Female Scientists, and Director of Sichuan Power Supply Society. Postdoctoral Fellow of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Ph.D. graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University, and received the highest honors of the Southwest Jiaotong University "Sishi Yanghua Medal" and "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation" and other awards. The main research directions are: multi-port converter modeling, analysis and control, energy harvesting technology and the application of power electronics technology in the field of new energy. Hosted 5 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund, the Sichuan Science and Technology Project General Project, the Central University Science and Technology Innovation Project, and the Maglev Technology and Maglev Train Key Laboratory Open Project, etc.; participated in and researched 6 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China,  the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China(863 Program) and the Supporting Program of the"Eleventh Five-Year" for Sci & Tech Research of China. Published 50 academic papers, wrote two monographs, applied for or authorized more than 20 invention patents.
