Dr. Linchuan Yang (杨林川) is a professor and deputy head of the Department of Urban and Rural Planning at the School of Architecture, Southwest Jiaotong University, China. He obtained both PhD and MPhil degrees from The University of Hong Kong, and a bachelor's degree in engineering and another in science from Xiamen University, China. He is the recipient of the Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars from the Science & Technology Department of Sichuan Province, China.
