Personal introduction
Shoune xiao，master，researcher，was studying in the department of locomotive and vehicle during 1981-1985 in Southwest Jiaotong University, getting bachelor of engineering;he was studying in the department of machanics during 1985-1988 in Southwest Jiaotong University, getting master of solid machanics;he was working as assistant and lecturer in material mechanics research section of the department of applied machanics during 1988-1992;he was working as associate professor and researcher in traction power state key laboratory of southwest jiaotong university till now.
main research fields
Main research fields now：
(1)Structural desigh and theory of railway vehicle and maglev vehicle.
(2)Strength analysis, fatigue life prediction and reliability research of railway vehicle and maglev vehicle.

Description of Research Group:科研团队介绍：
轨道机车车辆结构碰撞与强度研究团队隶属于牵引动力国家重点实验室机车车辆研究所，主要涉及车辆工程、载运工具运用工程、非线性动力学、工程力学、断裂力学、复合材料等多个学科领域，开展前沿基础理论研究与工程应用研究。先后承担包括国家973、863、支撑计划、国家自然科学基金、中车公司、四川省等项目近20项，校企合作项目100余项，获中国铁道学会铁道科技一等奖1项、铁道学会科学技术一等奖1项。
主要研究方向：
机车车辆结构设计与理论、列车碰撞安全性、结构强度、疲劳可靠性、吊挂设备耦合振动、复合材料与结构轻量化、动力学、疲劳断裂等。
主要研究对象：
车体（动车组系列、地铁车、磁悬浮车、低地板车、机车以及其它特种车辆（加载车、隧道检测车等）、转向架（构架、车轴、轴箱及其它部件）、吊挂件（电池箱、变压器等车体吊挂件）等。
