Nan Wang is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Physical Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University. He is a Senior Member and invited reviewer of both IEEE and OPTICA. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, he conducted postdoctoral research at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Since 2019, he has been with Southwest Jiaotong University, and from 2022 to 2024, he served as a Senior Visiting Scholar at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Wang has led over 10 national and provincial-level research projects, published more than 30 high-impact research papers, and filed over 50 patents. His research interests include optical intelligent inspection technologies, advanced optical fabrication, modern microscopic imaging techniques, and artificial intelligence in optics. Many of his research outcomes have been successfully applied in smart transportation, intelligent manufacturing, and precision microelectronics fabrication, contributing significantly to advancements in these fields.
