Professor Tang Chunyong received her BA degree in Automatic Control, MA degree and PhD in Management Science and Engineering, from Southwest Jiaotong University in 1986, 1991 and 2006 respectively.

Prof. Tang                                                   research focus on Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, concluding studies of leadership, group management, emotional intelligence, performance management and corporate social responsibility, etc. She has ever been to America, Austrilia, Japan, Korea for academic exchanges, and been invited to do presentations in important academic conferences, such as Academic of Management (AOM) and International Association for Chinese Management Research (IACMR). Meanwhile, she establishes long-term relationship in the same research area at home and abroad.Up to now, she has published over 40 research papers, and been engaged in the compiling of 5 books.

During the research period, she has successfully hosted six application programs supported by governments and companies, and participated in three projects supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and National Planning Foundation of Philosophy and Social Science, of which the program "The Study of Human Resource for Economy Development in Midwest Region", supported by National Planning Foundation of Philosophy and Social Science, was honored as the outstanding one.
