Supervised PhD/MSc Students
So far, he has supervised 7 postdoctorals, 59 PhD graduates, over 100 MSc graduates. In addition, he is currently supervising 4 postdoctorals, 8 PhD students and 2 MSc students.
Among the PhD students he supervised, Dr Xiaohu Tang and Dr Zheng Yang won National Top 100 Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize (MoE - Ministry of Education, China), and National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize (CESE - China Education Society of Electronics, China), respectively. Besides, 4 PhD students won Provincial Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize, and 11 PhD students won University Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Prize. Among the oversea postgraduate students he supervised, 4 from Pakistan, 1 from Iran, 1 from Vietnam, 1 from Yemen, 1 from Nigeria, and 1 from France.
