Supervisor of Master's Candidates
Yankai Ma, born in November 1993, is assistant professor, Doctor of Engineering, Master's Supervisor, and IEEE member. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in June 2017 and directly pursued his Ph.D., completing it in 2022. Following graduation, he worked as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Huawei Chengdu Research Institute. In 2023, he joined the Department of Electronics in the School of Information Science and Technology at Southwest Jiaotong University. His primary research interests include large-scale array antenna design, irregular array synthesis, and joint design of antennas and channels. He is currently leading a Youth Project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, a Youth Project funded by the Sichuan Natural Science Foundation, and a Central University Science and Technology Innovation Project, and serves as a main researcher for a major project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation. He has published over 20 papers in domestic and international journals and conferences, applied for more than 10 invention patents, and received awards such as the Class B National Postdoctoral Fellowship and the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Second Prize.
