    刘涛,男,博士,西南交通大学教授、博士生导师。本硕毕业于北京交通大学,博士毕业于新西兰奥克兰大学。曾在德国慕尼黑工业大学—新加坡南洋理工大学联合研究中心TUMCREATE、香港理工大学从事科研工作。兼任中国系统工程学会第十届交通运输系统工程专业委员会副秘书长、世界交通运输大会客运规划与联程运输技术委员会委员、四川欧美同学会·四川留学人员联谊会澳新分会第一届理事会理事。期刊《交通运输工程与信息学报》公共交通领域主编,期刊《International Journal of Sustainable Energy》可持续交通领域编委、《交通运输系统工程与信息》、《J. Advanced Transportation》等学术期刊编委。曾入选“香江学者计划”、西南交通大学“雏鹰学者”计划,四川省海外高层次留学人才。博士论文获新西兰奥克兰大学最佳博士论文奖。

    主要从事公共交通与城市轨道交通、多模式交通协同运输组织、人工智能与交通运输融合发展领域的研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年科学基金项目(C类)、国际(地区)合作交流“中欧人才”项目、教育部“春晖计划”合作科研项目等多项国家级或省部级科研项目。在施普林格·自然(Springer Nature)出版学术著作1部,在Transportation Research Part A/B/C/D/E、IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems、Transport Reviews、Transport Policy、European Journal of Operational Research (EJOR)、Omega-The International Journal of Management Science、Computers & Industrial Engineering、ISTTT等学术期刊与会议发表论文80余篇,部分论文入选ESI 高被引论文和“领跑者5000—中国精品科技期刊顶尖学术论文(F5000)”。获授权发明专利10项、软件著作权5项。科技创新成果获中国公路学会科学技术奖一等奖、中国智能交通协会科学技术奖。曾做客中央电视台CCTV10《透视新科技》栏目。

    承担《可持续交通》、《机车车辆与列车牵引计算》、《城市轨道交通新技术》、《交通运输专业英语》等6门本科生课程的教学工作。作为课程负责人,承担西南交通大学《轨道交通运输系统规划理论与方法》研究生课程建设工作。参与建设西南交通大学首期来华留学全英语授课精品课程《Fundamental Models for Public Transportation Systems》。主持西南交通大学“导辅协同育人机制创新与实践”专项重点项目1项。指导本科生获全国高校智能交通创新与创业大赛二等奖,指导研究生获西南交通大学优秀研究生、四川省优秀毕业生。
