Dr. Yulong Kuang, with ancestral roots in Suining, Sichuan, is a researcher and innovative practitioner with a profound academic background and extensive industrial experience. From 2006 to 2015, he completed his integrated bachelor, master, and doctoral studies at Sichuan University under the mentorship of the distinguished organic chemist, Academician Feng Xiaoming, which laid a solid foundation for his scientific research.Between 2015 and 2020, Dr. Kuang conducted postdoctoral research at New York University in the United States and the National University of Singapore, gaining cutting-edge scientific experience across diverse cultural and geographical contexts. In July 2020, he returned to China and joined the Chengdu High-Quality Development Research Institute (Center) as the Director of the Development Research Department, where he focused on promoting the integration of local industrial strategy with technological innovation. Starting in September 2021, Dr. Kuang joined Astra (Chengdu) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. as the Head of the R&D Center, leading drug development and technology transfer initiatives. Using this role as a platform for applied research, he entered the Mechanical Engineering Postdoctoral Research Station at Southwest Jiaotong University in November 2022 to engage in interdisciplinary studies.Dr. Yulong Kuang has demonstrated significant influence in both academia and industry. To date, he has co-authored 18 academic papers, including 8 as the first author, and filed 5 Chinese patents, 3 of which have been granted. His research findings have been widely cited, with an H-index of 15 and over 1,100 citations, reflecting his sustained academic contributions and impact in related fields.
