Dingfa Huang, Received his BSc. and MSc. degree in Geodesy from School of Surveying and Mapping, Wuhan University, PRC, in 1985 and 1988, and a PhD. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University(SWJTU), PRC, in 1996. From 1999 to 2003, he worked at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for RGC projects. From 2007 to 2008 he worked as a visiting scholar in Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO), University of California San Diego(UCSD), USA. He is currently a professor in the Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu,PRC.
