Profile
Prof Chuan He，male，born in June 1964，Doctor of Engineering （Waseda University). Prof He is the head of the underground engineering group and a PhD supervisor in Southwest Jiaotong University. He won the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholar and a honorary professor of the Cheung Kong Scholar. He is a candidate of the 'New Centaury National Hundred, Thousand and Ten Thousand Talent Project'. He is the head of the Creative Research Group of the Ministry of Education, Large and Complex Transportation tunnel Engineering . He is also the special government allowance expert. Prof He has been selected as the expert in the field of Modern transportation technology for 863 projects, the expert of the review group for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the expert of Technical Committee for the National Bureau of Railway. He is also the committee member or deputy director for many research societies in China such as China Society of rock mechanics and Engineering. He is also in charged for more than 4 National Key Laboratories (National Key Laboratory of Shield and tunnelling technology) and several Key Laboratories, Research Centers and Technical Committees. Prof He is also the adjunct professor for Central South University et al.
