GAN Lin, Vice-President of School of Humanities of Southwest Jiaotong University, Associate Professor, Graduate Student Supervisor; Head of Students Art Troupe of Southwest Jiaotong University Member of Chinese Musicians Association; Director of Sichuan Musicians Association; Member of Chorus Association of Sichuan Province; Director of Professional Committee of Sichuan Music Teaching Education Association; Commissary of Youth Union of Sichuan Province Academic and Technological leader in reserve in Sichuan Province.

I had studied in Music Department of Southwest Normal University from 1990 to 1994 ( now is called Conservatoire of Southwest-China University) and had studied postgraduate courses in musicology (vocal singing) in Sichuan Conservatory of Music from 2001 to 2003 and completed courses. I have worked in Southwest Jiaotong University since July, 1994, working as secretary of the Youth Corps Committee, director assistant of students’ affair division, deputy director of students’ affair division, Vice-president of School of Humanities in School of Economics and Business Administration, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Students’ Affair Division and School of Humanities respectively.

I held many solo concerts, took many provincial and municipal large-scale theatrical performances and won prizes in many singing contests. I was granted Best Singer Awards in “Dahongying” the Eighth National Young Singers’ Competition; Bronze Medal of Folking Singing in Young Singers’ Competition of Southwest Region; Golden Medal of Folking Singing in “Shouyi” National Pushing New Singers Competition; Screen Award in “Hayao liubei” the tenth National Young Singers’ Competition; Golden Medal in Western China folk song singing contest. I did cultural exchanges in France and Austria with French and Austrian musicians in May, 2010. The performance was well received by the audience and the concerts were recorded as DVD and CD which were released in Europe. Two musical CDs were released: Xinlu Lühen --- GAN Lin’s Musical Works Album ( It was released by China Record Corporation in Chengdu in 2009); Xinlu Lühen --- GAN Lin’s Musical Works Album2 ( It was released by China Record Corporation in Shenzhen in 2012)．I was granted some titles such as Teaching Achievement Award of Southwest Jiaotong University; multi-skill of “Top Ten” Young Teachers in Chengdu, Advanced Individual in Art Education in Sichuan Province.
