Dong Liang was born in 1979. He received the B.S. degree from the Department of Physics in 2002, and the Master degree from Huazhong University of science and technology, Wuhan, China，in 2005, and the Ph.D. degree from Southwest Jiaotong University，Sichuan，in 2011. From 2014 to 2015，he was as a visiting researcher of the University of Queensland, Australia. Since 2011, he has been an associate professor with the School of Electrical Engineering.
