Long-term tracing tests for wheel wears and out-of-roundness, bogie vibrations, and vehicle stability and comfortability within the maintenance intervals were carried out in the last decade. The critical rules of the high-speed trains on the dynamic performance respect to the mileage, line conditions, and the operation environments were obtained. Based on the line testing technology, the nondestructive and wireless instrumented wheelsets were developed for long-term contact force surveillance and track irregularity evaluations in real-time. An integrated wayside inspection system including WILD and stability was developed for intelligent fault identifications.
As the project leader, 27 research projects (more than 20 million RMB) were undertaken since 2012 sponsored by the state (2), province (2), and the enterprises (23).
