l   Group Members: Prof. CAI Chengbiao, Prof. WANG Kaiyun, Prof. ZHAO Chunfa, Prof. CHEN Zaigang, A/Prof. GAO Jianmin, A/Prof. SONG Xiaolin, A/Prof. ZHU Shengyang, A/Prof. LING Liang, A/Prof. CHEN Shiqian

l   Brief Introduction: The group came into being with the great development of China's railway modernization, which involves many disciplines, such as vehicle engineering, vehicle operation engineering, railway track engineering and bridge engineering, etc. In 2004 the group was selected as the first batch of innovation team of Ministry of Education, and in 2013 it was selected as the key field innovation team of Ministry of Science and Technology. This group focuses on areas of dynamics simulation, analysis and design, as well as vibration testing and evaluation, carrying out cutting-edge basic theory research and engineering application research. The group’s research is featured by taking the train, track, and bridge as a whole large system to comprehensively investigate the dynamic operation safety and stability of high (fast) speed train, heavy haul train and maglev train, as well as their dynamic effects on the infrastructure, so as to guide the practical engineering design, operation and maintenance.
