Zhu Jianmei has graduated from the Southwest Jiaotong University with Bachelor degree on railway transportation at 1986. Later on, she obtained her master’s degree at 1993 and Ph.D degree on transportation management at 2002, respectivelyShe is currently the vice chairman of the university council, serving as the standing committee member of the party committee organization department, director of Office of student affairs, secretary of the Communist Youth League, student political teacher and deputy secretary of the general party branch of the department of transport, SWJTU in the past two decades.        Dr. Zhu undertakes teaching and research work in college of traffic, transportation and logistics, engaging in the research of traffic and transportation planning, transportation development strategy and logistics planning. Dr. Zhu has over more than 30 publications on professional scientific journals, such as Journal of Southwest Jiaotong University, railway transport and economic and international academic conferences as well. Dr. Zhu scientific practice involves with both research projects and consulting projects. Some of her representative projects include: Stragegic analysis in railway transport development and Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway operations simulation research, etc. For her demonstrated qualities of ingenuity and perseverance, Dr. Zhu is hereby awarded the Second Prize in the Teaching achievement award of Sichuan province, the Third Prize of Science and technology in Sichuan province, and the Third Prize for Philosophy and social sciences in Sichuan province.
