Faculty Profile

Dr. Zhang was born in Zunyi, Guizhou, in July 1974. He graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2003, with a doctor’s degree in Power electronics and electric drives. During 2003~2004, as a senior engineer, Dr. Zhang Worked in Shenzhen Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation for developing and researching OFDMA systems. In December 2004, as a post-doc, Dr. Zhang carried out his research work in Post-Doctoral Research Center of control science and engineering in South China University of Technology. In March 2007, Dr. Zhang became an associate professor in college of automation, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. From May 2008 until now, He is an associate professor and also a tutor for graduate in Southwest Jiaotong University. Dr. Zhang is interested in the research of advanced control theory and its applications, such as fuzzy control systems, time-delayed dynamical systems, and complex networks. Dr. Zhang has published about 20 papers on these fields during the last decade, among which 10 are indexed by EI. In addition, as a main researcher or the head, Dr. Zhang has taken on and finished 11 projects, which include NSFC, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Guangdong Province Natural Science Foundation of China Key Project, Natural Science Foundation of Chongqing, Natural Science Foundation of South China of Technology, etc.
