杨尚川，现任西南交通大学副教授、博士生导师，2016年博士毕业于河海大学。他的主要研究方向为边坡与加筋土结构稳定理论及优化设计、考虑空间变异性的岩土高效随机算法、机制引导的岩土大数据与概率极限状态设计。目前担任国际土工合成物学会会刊Geotextiles and Geomembranes（中科院大类1区Top期刊）副主编（Associate Editor），担任美国土木工程师学会（ASCE）土工合成材料技术委员会委员（Member of the technical committee of Geosynthetics in ASCE），受邀担任美国联邦公路管理局（FHWA）《挡土结构》技术规范（Earth Retaining Systems，GEC 002, 2024版）外部评审专家，担任 Géotechnique, ASCE Journal of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, Computers and Geotechnics, Soil Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, Acta Geotechnica, International Journal of Rock Mechanics and Mining Sciences, Rock Mechanics and Rock Engineering, International Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics 等岩土工程国际主流期刊审稿人。他曾获西南交通大学青年教师教学竞赛一等奖和二等奖各一次，获评土木学院“教学新星”及“优秀教育工作者”，并作为骨干成员获校级教学成果一等奖3项。

他主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项（加筋土结构承载失稳机制与稳定性分析理论研究，52278371，2023-2026）、青年项目1项（三维加筋土结构稳定性分析与设计优化研究，51808456，2019-2021）、国家重点研发计划子课题1项，获2024年度江苏省科技进步一等奖（4/11）。以第一作者或通讯作者在岩土工程国际主流期刊发表SCI论文20余篇，研究成果主要发表于岩土工程三大刊（Géotechnique、JGGE、CGJ）以及 RESS、G&G、EG、COGE 、SDEE 等知名学术期刊。近年10篇一作代表作如下：
