Xuguang WANG, 1939 Born in Zongyang County, Anhui Province, graduated from Anhui University in 1963, engaged in research and application of explosives, blasting and mining engineering. Awarded the national middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions in 1984, approved in 1991 to enjoy special government allowances, elected in 1995 for the Academician of China Academy of Engineering. Served as dean of Beijing Mining Research Associate and director of the Academic Committee. Currently is the doctoral supervisor of the associate, expert of national security production expert group, Deputy Director and Chief Editor of Chinese Academy of Engineering Publications Committee, Executive Deputy Director of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chemical, Metallurgical and Materials, Chairman of Chinese Accocation of Engineering Blasting, Chairman of China Safety Production Association safety evaluation working committee. Also the member of international rock blasting and Fragmentation committee, Chief Editor of Asia of The International Journal For Blasting And Fragmentation, Academician of St. Petersburg Academy of Engineering Sciences, Russia, member of the sixth National People’s Congres.
