Faculty Profile

Professor WANG Shunhong, born in Jiangsu Province in 1963, is now a professor of Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), and a Ph.D supervisor in Management Science and Engineering. He received his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1984, master and doctoral degrees in Management Science and Engineering in 1995 and 2002 from SWJTU. He has received more than ten domestic and overseas training programs organized by the Ministry of Railway, Ministry of Education and the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC. 

Professor Wang’s main research areas include management science and engineering, ideological and political education and higher education. He has been the leading researchers of 36 projects and has published 115 papers in domestic leading journals. Prizes he has won include: first prizes of teaching achievement of Sichuan Provincial and SWJTU, the top grade prize for science and technology progress of the 11th Engineering Bureau, Ministry of Railway, the third prize of science and technology progress of Sichuan Province. His research on bidding and quotation in project management has been recognized in the scholarly community.
