Yumiao Tian is a lecturer at Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. He received his B.S. degree in Surveying and Mapping and M.S. degree in Geodesy and Surveying Engineering both from Central South University, Changsha, China, in 2008 and 2011, respectively, and obtained his Ph.D. degree ("summa cum laude") in Geodesy from Technische Universitaet Berlin, Germany, in 2016.
