My research areas are complex analysis, Fourier analysis and fractal geometry.
The research of complex analysis and fractal geometry is to study some problems of classical complex analysis from the perspective of fractal geometry, such as the geometric and fractal properties of analytic functions on its boundary.
The research of Fourier analysis and fractal geometry is to study whether the L2 space of a general measure (especially fractal measure) has an orthonormal basis of exponential functions. It is well known that the L2 space of the Lebesgue measure on any interval has an orthonormal basis of exponential functions. For a general measure, whether its L2 space has an exponential orthonormal basis has always been a concern of mathematicians. In 1998, Jorgenson and Pederson discovered the first singular non-atomic measure whose L2 space has an exponential orthonormal basis, which is called a spectral measure. Since then, the spectrality of measures (especially fractal measures) has become a research hotspot in mathematics.
