Personal profile:

In 1997, he graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University with a major in railway electrification and a second major in computer application. In 2003, he received a doctorate degree in power system and its automation. He was promoted to associate professor in 2003, and professor in 2006. He was selected as a doctoral supervisor in 2008. He was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the United States from 2009 to 2010, and a senior visiting scholar at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands in November 2017.

Academic Achievements:

The host of the Sichuan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Research Team and the Sichuan Provincial University Scientific Research Innovation Team.

Presided over 26 national, provincial, and ministerial level projects, including key/general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, sub projects of the National Key R&D Plan, sub projects of the National 863 Plan, sub projects of the National Science and Technology Support Plan, Sichuan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Research Team, key projects of the Science and Technology Research and Development Plan of the Ministry of Railways, and Sichuan Outstanding Youth Fund.

Published more than 200 papers included in SCI/EI, of which 63 first author/corresponding author published IEEE Transactions papers, 3 English monographs, 1 Chinese monograph, 56 authorized invention patents, and 4 software copyrights.


Education and Teaching: 

By 2022, 22 doctoral students and 102 master students have been trained, including 43 national scholarships, 6 "outstanding graduate students in Sichuan Province", and 44 outstanding postgraduate dissertations from Southwest Jiaotong University. Established and lectured the doctoral course "Non-stationary Random Signal Analysis", the master's course "Modern Signal Processing Technology and Application".
