[Title] Characterization of Atmospheric Turbulence Profiles at Wuming Mountain Site

- Abstract:The characteristics of atmospheric optical turbulence are critical for the design and operation of modern ground-based optical telescopes,particularly for the implementation of adaptive optics systems. This study presents the development and field testing of multiple instruments designed to measure atmospheric turbulence profiles at the Wuming Mountain Site,including microthermal sensors,SHABAR,and PDSL systems. Field measurements reveal that atmospheric turbulence is predominantly concentrated in the near-surface layer,with implications for telescope construction height and adaptive optics system design. The results provide essential turbulence parameters for the planned 2.5-m Wide-Field and High-Resolution Telescope at the site.
