Prof. Lin is from Department of Fire safety engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University. He was awarded with the PhD degree from City University of Hong Kong in Fire engineering in 2006. He had worked for Meinhardt as senior engineer during 2006~2009 and then for AECOM as associate during 2009~2014.His project experience included Hong Kong International Airport, West Kowloon Terminus (WKT), Cruise Terminal Building, HAECO Hanger III, Shatin-to-Central, etc. He is well familiar with building codes of Hong Kong, Macao, BS, BCA, NFPA, IBC, IFC, etc. His area of interested included fire dynamics, tunnel fire, evacuation modeling, optimization modelling, etc. he had more than 50 publications in journals or proceedings and more than 30 publications were indexed by SCI.
