Course Introduction:This is an undergraduate level course in corporate finance. The objective of this course is to develop a comprehensive understanding of modern corporate finance and its application in today’s corporate world. The main topics covered include: (1) the time value of money and the valuation of bonds, stocks, and companies; (2) uncertainty and the trade-offs between risk and return; (3) corporate financing; (4) debt and payout policy; (5) financial analysis and planning; and (6) futures and options.
