Jin wei is associate professor of  Computer & Communication Engineering at E’mei campus, Southwest Jiaotong  University (SWJTU). He is currently dean of the Computer & Communication  Engineering department at E’mei campus ,SWJTU. He served as head teacher,  instructor, director of the Applied Electronic Technology Lab, director of the Computer  Science Teaching and Research Office, vice director of the Information Network  Center and vice dean of the Computer & Communication Engineering department  at E’mei campus ,SWJTU. He also had taught at Northeast Normal   University previously.Jin wei's research interests  include Computer application technology and Urban Rail Transit Control.
