Profile
Tao Huang received the B.Eng. degree and M.Eng. degree in geological engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University in China in 1992 and 1994, and the Ph.D. degree in bridge and tunnel Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University in China in 1997. After the post-doctoral research in 1999, he started to work at Southwest Jiaotong University. Dr. Huang is currently a Professor with the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at the Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), Chengdu, China, and Associate Dean of SWJTU-LEEDS joint School of SWJTU. He was the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering of SWJTU. He used to study and do research work at Aachen university of technology and Northwest University as a Visiting Scholar in 2001 and 2004.
