周尚琴，四川大学艺术学理论博士，主要从事艺术哲学、艺术符号学、音乐美学研究。主持教育部人文社会科学青年基金项目“中国艺术学与美学百年关系研究”，主持中国博士后科学基金面上资助项目“中国当代流行音乐的情感符号学研究”，主持四川省社会科学重点研究基地“西南音乐研究中心”与“美学与美育研究中心”项目各1项，参与国家社科重大项目“当代艺术提出的重要美学问题研究”。出版学术著作《诺埃尔·卡罗尔大众艺术哲学研究》，在《文化研究》《中外文化与文论》《符号与传媒》《美育学刊》等刊物发表论文数篇。
