Faculty Profile

Lijun Zhou is a professor and a Ph.D. supervisor in Southwest Jiaotong University. He received the B.E., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering, from Southwest Jiaotong University, respectively in 2001, 2004 and 2007. He worked as an associate professor in the college of Electrical Engineering at Southwest Jiaotong University since 2008, then a professor and a Ph.D. supervisor respectively in 2011 and 2013. He presided over the Natural Science Foundation of China, the Sichuan Province Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists and projects supported by China Railway Corporation, the State Grid and the Southern Power Grid respectively. He has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of China Railway Society Science and Technology, the Sichuan Province Science and Technology Progress Award, and a total of 8 awards. He published over 100 academic papers, including more than 70 indexed by SCI or EI, and authorized 24 invention patents. He has gained the honor of the Sichuan Province Academic and Technical Leader, Sichuan Outstanding Contributions Expert, the Fok Ying Tong Young Teacher Award and Sichuan Province Youth Science and Technology Award.
