Dr. Zhihou Zhang obtained his Bachelor’s Master's degree in Jilin University in 2005 and 2007, respectively. After receiving his degree, he then worked as a research assistant in Tianjin Institute of Geology and Mineral Resources during 2007 and 2010. In 2010, he joined Shizhe Xu's group in Zhejiang University, pursuing his Ph.D. degree. He obtained his PhD degree in 2013. Dr. Zhihou Zhang joined in Southwest China Jiaotong University as a university lecturer in July, 2013.
Description of Research Group:智能地球探测，是以各类勘探地球物理方法与人工智能的结合为研究对象，以交通选线的低碳勘察、地质灾害的监测预警、矿产资源勘探的理论、方法、技术为研究内容，以交通、地质、资源、环境经济综合效益最优化为研究目标，为21世纪国家经济建设、科技进步和可持续发展培养高层次的综合地质技术人才。智能地球探测以地质、数学、物理及计算机科学为基础，并与地质灾害预防、石油及天然气工程以及环境科学与工程有密切联系。
