Graduated as: Doctor of Engineering at the Department of Architecture, South China University of Technology in 2008; Master of Architecture at the Dessau Institute of Architecture, Germany, 2005; Master and Bachelor of Engineering at the Department of Architecture, Southwest Jiaotong University in 1999 and 1996.


Current research fields concern thought and expression of architectural design, and reconstruction of ancient Chinese cities in the virtual world.


Author of an academic book and 10 essays published in Chinese professional journals.


Currently chair of the projects “Recreation of the Shape and Revolution of the Ancient City of Chengdu in End-Tang Dynasty and Its Impact on the Conservation of Contemporary Old Cities” supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and “Research of Recreation and Construction of Ancient City of Chengdu in Ancient Shu Period” supported by the Ministry of Education Social Science Fund.


In 2011, completed a series of recreations of the ancient Chengdu city. The results of the work were adopted for the history display in the Chengdu Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. In 2012, completed the conceptual design of Shu Han city during the Three-Kingdom Period , and a residential culture district in Wenchuan Water Mill town.


Professional works include the design of the training building and library of the Sichuan Academy of Cuisine, completed in 2010 and constructed in 2011.
