Zhang Ming, Ph.D., associate professor, master supervisor, a high level overseas talents in Sichuan Province, the faculty of college Civil Engineering; Southwest Jiaotong University; the member of the Chengdu Industry and Information Technology Experts; the Editorial Board member of the International Journal of Space Structures and the American Journal of Mechanics and Applications (AJMA); the reviewers of the academic journal ‘Thin-Walled Structures’, ‘Advances in Structural Engineering’, ‘International Journal of Structural Stability and Dynamics’, ‘Structures’.
He has long been engaged in research and teaching in seismic structural engineering, steel structure, space structures, the application of the artificial intelligence technology in structures. Now, His main research is focused on the application of engineering bamboo in structures. In the past five years, he has published more than 15 papers as the first / corresponding author and two China Invention Patents. From 2016 to now, he has hosted three research projects independently, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Postdoctoral Science Foundation of China, the International Exchanges 2017 Cost Share (UK-China). Until now, 8 masters of engineering have been trained, and 4 masters have been graduated.
