Liyang Yu is a Yanghua Scholar (B) of Southwest Jiaotong University, a special appointment researcher, and a doctoral supervisor. His main research areas include material and process development of new optoelectronic functional devices such as organic solar cells, organic field-effect transistors, organic sensors and organic thermoelectric devices, micro-nano structure control, in-situ characterization of solution processing processes, etc. He published over 100 academic papers, including publications as first or corresponding author in journals such as Sci. Adv., Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., etc., with more than 7,000 citations, and an h -index of 41. He has been granted with 2 international invention patents and 3 utility model patents. He is a member of multiple professional associations. He was supported by the Tianfu Emei Talent Program of Sichuan Province, and awarded Emerging Investigator of the Royal Society of Chemistry's J. Mater. Chem. C in 2021.
