Shihai You, Ph.D, Associate Professor at the Frontiers Science Research Institute of Frontier Science of Southwest Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. He serves as a Master's Supervisor and Joint Doctoral Supervisor and is recognized as a Scientific and Technological Innovation Talent in Sichuan Province of China. His research mainly focuses on the fundamental and applied studies of inorganic optoelectronic materials and semiconductor devices, including metal halide perovskites and their luminescent and photodetection devices, X-ray detection and imaging, as well as rare-earth luminescent materials and their applications in solid-state lighting and display devices. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in scientific journals such as Nat. Photon., ACS Energy Lett., Adv. Funct. Mater., Angew. Chem., with citations of more than 1,700 times and an H-index of 19. Additionally, he has contributed 1 chapter to an English academic monograph and holds 2 authorized Chinese invention patents. He has led multiple research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation for Young Scholars, Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Department Programs, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation General Funding, and RSC Research Fund from the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK). He has also participated in key projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation Major Program and Key Program.Currently, he is a member of the Chinese Chemical Society, the Chinese Society of Chemical Engineering, and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry (MRSC). He serves as a Early-Career Editorial Board member for Microstructures, Materials Lab, and Journal of Inorganic Materials, and acts as a reviewer for journals including Advanced Functional Materials, Journal of Advanced Ceramics, Chemical Engineering Journal, Microstructures, Journal of Alloys and Compounds, and the Chinese Journal of Luminescence.
