Dr Wan received a PhD (July 2017) from The University of Queensland (UQ) Australia, a Master of Pharmaceutics (June 2013) and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (June 2010) from West China School of Pharmacy Sichuan University. She currently works as a lecturer in the School of Life science and Engineering Southwest Jiaotong University (2017-current).
Dr Wan works in the fields of Pharmaceutics, investigating novel delivery systems for genes, small molecules and photosensitizers to improve the therapy efficacy for various diseases, such as cancer, liver fibrosis.
Specific current areas of interest are detailed below:
1. Tumor homotypic targeting biomimetic drug delivery nanosystems.
2. Perfluorocarbon modified non-viral gene vectors.
3. aHSC-targeted drug delivery for the treatment of liver fibrosis.
