Wang Hongxin is an Assistant Professor and Master’s Supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, Southwest Jiaotong University. He was supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) Joint PhD Training Program to conduct research as a visiting scholar at the University of Bath.
Hongxin’s research focuses on digital innovation, entrepreneurship management, and entrepreneurial failure recovery. He has published 16 peer-reviewed articles in journals including the Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Business Research, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, with over 800 total citations on Google Scholar.
Hongxin has served as Principal Investigator on Youth Science Fund project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Category C), General Grant from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and Chengdu Science and Technology Project (soft science), and has participated as a co-investigator in multiple additional projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Social Science Foundation of China. He is actively engaged in international academic exchange and scholarly service, and serves as an anonymous reviewer for multiple international journals and conferences, including the Journal of Business Research, Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, AOM, and IACMR.
Hongxin has received the National Scholarship for Graduate Students and the First Prize of the 19th Tianjin Municipal Outstanding Achievement Award in Social Sciences.
