Changding Wang, Doctor of Engineering, is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Future Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Electrical Engineering Postdoctoral Mobile Station (co-supervised by Prof. Guangning Wu). He graduated with a Doctorate in Engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering at Chongqing University in June 2025, where he studied under Prof. Weigen Chen (Changjiang Scholar) and Prof. Shuhui Sun of INRS.
His research focuses on the fundamental theory and application of intelligent safety for energy and power equipment, as well as key technologies for new energy storage materials and devices. He has made significant progress in these fields, publishing 37 high-quality SCI papers in total. As first/corresponding author, his notable publications include work in Carbon Energy (IF: 24.2; cover article), Applied Catalysis B: Environmental (IF: 24.3), Analytical Chemistry (Nature Index journal; Cover article), and Chemical Engineering Journal (IF: 13.2). He also serves as a reviewer for multiple international journals.
