Personal Profile
I have long been engaged in research on nonlinear calculation of large span bridges, bridge vibration, health monitoring, bridge construction methods, and construction control techniques. I am responsible for teaching professional courses for undergraduate, master, and doctoral students. I have hosted and participated in more than 10 national science and technology support, a provincial and ministerial level science and technology projects, and more than 100 horizontal projects entrusted by various enterprises and institutions. I proposed the accurate calculation method for the alignment of the main cable of suspension bridges, namely the segmental suspension chain line method. I am also the main inventor of the method for the construction and erection of the stiffened girders of the Qiaozhai Bridge, namely the rail-slip method. I presided over the preparation of "BNLAS", which was introduced by nearly 50 design institutes nationwide and became the main software for suspension bridge design and calculation. In addition, I have presided over more than 10 construction monitoring projects for suspension bridges with a span of over 1000m. I have won one National Science and Technology Progress Second Class Award, eight Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress and Invention Awards of first-class and above, and two-second class awards. I am a member of the expert group of the Shenzhen-China Passage project jointly hired by Guangdong Province and the Ministry of Transport and a member of the expert group of the Wenzhou Oujiang Beikou Bridge jointly hired by the Department of Transport of Zhejiang Province and Wenzhou City. I have published more than 100 papers including SCI, EI, and core journals, and obtained many invention patents.
