Dr. Sha Jin is an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at the Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU). She received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from SWJTU, Chengdu, China in 2009 and 2015, respectively. From 2013 to 2015, she was a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. She was a Research Associate with the University of Strathclyde, during 2016–2017.
Her current research interests include the field of power electronics and energy conversion, with particular emphasis on modeling, control, and various applications including portable electronics, converter interface for battery energy storage, and renewable power systems. She has published 44 papers in journals; 1 book; and is the inventor of 19 Chinese patents.
